An induced abortion is the abortion that is performed before 180 days of gestation. In the case of spontaneous abortion, it happens before the 26th week of pregnancy, when the foetus has no guarantees of survival outside the womb. In many cases, they do not require any medical or surgical intervention. Induced abortion however, is planned and does require experts to carry out the procedure.
