The FUE technique (Follicular Unit Extraction) is based on the extraction of the follicular units, one by one, to implant them in the hairless areas of the scalp. This method can be applied for rebuilding eyebrows, hiding scars, etc. It is performed under local anaesthesia, it is not painful and the patient’s recovery is usually easy and quick. To do this, the donor area, usually the lower part of the neck is shaved and the scalp units are removed one by one with the help of a thin calliper of less than 1 mm in diameter.
