The procedure is as follows: the pathological lesion’s location is identified through hormone and blood tests and other tests such as cervical ultrasound and scintigraphy. . A small incision of about 10 or 15 mm is made and a 5mm camera is inserted into the lesion. The surgeon performs the operation with the aid of the images from the camera displayed on a monitor.
